Frequently Asked Questions

How to replace a double-ended halogen light bulb?

Turn off and unplug the fixture, then allow the lamp to cool completely. Wear clean cotton gloves to avoid skin oils on the quartz. Grasp the lamp at both ceramic ends, slide it out of the socket pins, and insert the replacement by aligning the end caps into the holders. Never touch the quartz tube directly, as skin oils can cause premature failure.
