Infrared ovens offer significantly faster cycle times, lower energy consumption, and more precise process control compared to conventional convection ovens. Because IR energy heats the coating directly rather than the surrounding air, you get faster cure times, a smaller equipment footprint, instant on/off capability, and improved coating quality with reduced defects.

Fannon Products' infrared curing ovens are designed to cure automotive primer coats, color coats, clear coats, and powder coats. They are also suitable for industrial applications including ink drying, adhesive curing, and plastics coating processes across multiple industries.

Short-wave infrared operates at higher temperatures (approx. 4100°F color temperature) with instant response, ideal for rapid curing of thin coatings. Medium-wave infrared provides deeper, more uniform heat penetration suited for thicker substrates or heat-sensitive materials.
