Short-wave infrared offers instant on/off response and higher operating temperatures up to 4,000°F, making it ideal for fast-cycle applications like inkjet drying. Medium-wave infrared provides slower, more penetrating heat suited to powder coat curing, plastics forming, and applications requiring deeper heat transfer. Fannon offers both configurations and fast medium-wave as well.

Yes. Fannon's LightSpeed and Inkjet Solutions systems are specifically designed to dry both water-based and solvent-based inks on all types of glossy and non-glossy substrates. The patented 24K gold reflector focuses virtually 100% of infrared energy directly onto the paper for maximum drying efficiency at reduced electrical consumption.
